I used the same technique that I used on THIS page to color the word “Thankful”. I used my MISTI tool to put color on just part of the stamp and stamp on the paper. Then I added another color and stamped again. Each time I wiped the ink off the stamp in places I didn’t want that color to be.
I hope you are enjoying these autumn themed projects as much as I am!
The title, Grateful, was created using my MISTI stamping tool. It allowed me to add the different colors on the word exactly where I wanted them. I applied the ink to the stamps and used a paper towel to remove ink from where I’d didn’t want that color to be. I’m so happy with how it turned out!
Check out the other layouts I’ve created using these papers, stamps and colors!
I am IN LOVE with the color combinations used in this paper collection. That deep blue, called Harbor, which is brand new combined with the beautiful pinks is just perfect.
Each two page layout was created using a prompt from the SOTM set. I loved having these to help me reflect on what things I am grateful for. As a bonus, it helped me document my fall 2020, which I hadn’t done yet!
It is finally here! The new annual Close To My Heart core catalog and the Sep/Oct catalog are available to order from!!
I am very much in love with the September stamp of the month that I have featured in this card. Not only does it make a cute card, but it has great prompts to make me reflect on being thankful. I’ve got a project I’m working on showcasing that. You’ll be seeing that in a few days 🙂
For this card I also used two new fall themed stamps and two of the new colors! I’m thrilled with all the new colors, they’re amazing. The new colors I used were Papaya and Shortbread, but I also used Paprika, which is a previous color that goes beautifully with Papaya.
