Thankful Slimline

Hey There!

I haven’t done many slimline cards, but they are so fun and cute I’ll need to do more!

This card uses the CTMH September Stamp of the Month, Grateful for this Life, along with paper and stamps from the current seasonal catalog. See the end of this post for a project list if you are interested in duplicating this card!

I used the same technique that I used on THIS page to color the word “Thankful”. I used my MISTI tool to put color on just part of the stamp and stamp on the paper. Then I added another color and stamped again. Each time I wiped the ink off the stamp in places I didn’t want that color to be.

I hope you are enjoying these autumn themed projects as much as I am!

Spinner Interactive Care

Hey There!

Guess what? I’m till doing autumn themed projects using around here!

Today I have an interactive card with a spinning front. Close To My Heart has a Thin Cut die called Card Front Spinner to make these types of cards!

I love how the leaves look like they are blowing in the wind when this wheel is spun.

You can visit my Instagram reels to see this card in action!

I’ve been posting all kinds of projects using these same colors, stamps and papers. Check out my recent posts, including my Happy Fall Ian card!

Happy Fall Ian!

Hey There

There are so many things I adore about the new Close ago My Heart September/October catalog, but this Pumpkin Spice patterned paper is at the top!

I love how is uses traditional orange and reds, but incorporates fun pinks and the new Harbor Exclusive Ink color. That blue works perfect as a fall color!

There are two stamp sets used on this card. The pumpkins are from the Pumpkin Spice Cardmaking stamp. The boy is from the new Buddies line of stamps. He is actually from the new Core Catalog, along with his buddies. His name is Ian. I’m an thrilled they added these boys to go with the Besties girls! Wait to you see their Halloween costumes!!

I’m really enjoying playing with all these fall themed papers and stamps. I’ll have more coming your way soon!

Take a peek at this other fall themed card I created using products from the new catalogs!

Grateful For This Life

Hey There!

It is finally here! The new annual Close To My Heart core catalog and the Sep/Oct catalog are available to order from!!

I am very much in love with the September stamp of the month that I have featured in this card. Not only does it make a cute card, but it has great prompts to make me reflect on being thankful. I’ve got a project I’m working on showcasing that. You’ll be seeing that in a few days 🙂

For this card I also used two new fall themed stamps and two of the new colors! I’m thrilled with all the new colors, they’re amazing. The new colors I used were Papaya and Shortbread, but I also used Paprika, which is a previous color that goes beautifully with Papaya.

There isn’t any patterned paper or color card stock on this card. Stamped directly on to the card base with the words, and stamped onto White Daisy card stock for the pumpkin, gourd and leaves from Autumn is Calling and Pumpkin Spice- Cardmaking Stamp sets

It is a little hard to see in the picture, but I used a shimmer brush to add some glam to the pumpkin, gourd and leaves. I can’t enough of the shimmer brushes!

Here is a list of all the supplies I used to create this card:

Tutti Frutti Summer

CTMH August Stamp of the Month

Hey There!

I wanted to pop in and share this fun summery card I created.

I used the August Stamp of the Month from Close To My Heart, called Tutti Frutti Summer. The orange and strawberry paper is from my stash, and sadly not available any more.

Shhh..the pink in used on the strawberries and the background is the new CTMH Color of the Year. That color will be released and available on September 1st!

This Tutti Frutti Summer SOTM stamp set is only available until Aug 31st, so don’t wait!
